The Magical Words

Every words, wherever those come from, have a huge meaning & can be so powerful beyond its function to connect with people.

Mmm actually, this’s only a random thought came across my mind all of sudden, which should be stored in my notes only — kinda unnecessarily private, but I think I wanna drop here too, though.

I currently am binge-watching a Netflix Series, 13 Reasons Why. That is a dope ngl but kinda drove me tired as this conceives of 4 Seasons (way too much for me). This series told beyond about bullying, about how cruel & mourn this life can be.

As I always witness every second of sorrow scene in 13RW, it drove me thinking.. Is there any words in Bahasa (my mother tongue) that expressing a respect once hearing something sucks. In English, you know, we mostly go with “I’m Sorry to Hear That” which implies and shows our delve sympathy of something bad happened.

In Bahasa, it has kind of expression only to a death news, Turut Berduka Cita. Yet when it comes to another pain or distress came over somebody, maybe, we normalise to start with shooketh or curiosity words like, Ya Ampun! Kok bisaa? Sumpah? Serius?.

No, this ain’t a word-comparison or whatsoever. I do aware that every words have meaningful ways to express every bunch of stuffs. It is somehow… just my random thoughts:)
